The grid surveys have become a bit irregular lately, owing to real life travels, and now an improved survey instrument, permitting more accurate surveys within a much more limited time span than before (18 minutes instead of 15 hours), and with much less load on the surveyed servers (some 1,000 hits instead of some 40,000 hits).
Although it isn't possible to find regions via the map interface outside of the area (0,0)-(2048,2048), a number of regions (38 of 837 this survey) are not found inside this area. Since the number of regions in the area fits the total number of region slots on Avination servers, the excess 38 regions are probably not part of Avination, but added to the count anyway. 143 of the found regions are owned by Avination management, team and known alts of them.
The area (950,998)-(1003,1050) is locked for ordinary region ordering, and is therefore considered special, hence the separate statistics for this area.
